Who We Are
Resonant Equity, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed to increase access to quality mental health care through addressing inequities in the bureaucracies of mental health. We are an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP #7682) through NBCC, making our live programs and home study courses eligible for CEs for LPCCs and LMHCs including trainees and associates pursuing counseling licenses. If you are in California and are an MFT, CSW, or LEP, we got you too! The CEs that we issue through our NBCC approved provider status will be accepted by the California Board of Behavioral Health for your license too.
Resonant Equity’s efforts are focused around removing barriers to getting licensed and improving the experience of mental health care with high quality programs of education and training for mental health professionals. We offer mentoring to pre-licensed counselors who are trying to navigate the incredibly complex and incredibly time-consuming process to licensure in California – where basically you have to be wealthy in order to get to the end and get your license, due to the time requirement, restrictive supervision rules, and incredibly low pay that is standard, all because of the laws and regulations that mental health counseling is subject to.
